Lostprophets - Liberation Transmission (Torment)

Finally, after three years of absense, Lostprophets are back!
The new album has some similarities with their previoous work "Start Something", but cant be thought of as Start Something Vol. 2.
The songs are catchy, with great rythm and bass, and the lyrics reflect the notion "Try and you will succed".
All the songs are good, with the album generally starting up strong with Everyday Combat, A Town Called Hypocrisy, The New Transmission, slighlty slowing down in the middle and then picking up again with Everybodys Screaming.
Hardcore Lostprophets listeners wont be dissapointed, and potential new listeners will enjoy it.
What can I say, this is a great summer album that you pop in your open car on the way to Ayia Napa ;p

Special Mention: As I said above, all the songs are great, but some are definetly worth listening to: A Town Called Hypocricy, Broken Hearts, Torn Up Letters And The Story Of A Lonely Girl, The new Transmission, Everybody's Screaming !!!.

LINE UP

Ian Watkins (vocals), Lee Glaze (guitar), Mike Lewis (guitar), Stuart Richardson (bass), Jamie Oliver (turntables), Mike Chiplin (drums)

Rating: 9/10
